Goodness Me! [Brantford] is hosting a free health afternoon on Saturday, September 26th. Dr. Amy will be presenting "Belly Flab to Belly Flat". This will compliment the "bust stress" seminar by Julie Daniluk.
"BELLY FLAB to BELLY FLAT" When doing the basics of weight loss just isn’t enough, the technicalities of weight loss need to be explored! In particular, we will investigate two hormones, insulin (our blood sugar control hormone) and cortisol (our stress hormone), that must be balanced to decrease belly fat and increase health. You will learn about factors that lead to increased insulin /cortisol and gain knowledge on how to fine-tune to achieve that positive side effect of weight loss. |
